I have fond memories of the warm welcome at Port Louis airport in Mauritius from Coquille Bonheur. Luc greeted me upon my arrival on December 22, 2024, and took me to the Dumont d'Urvil boat. On January 4, 2025, Didier and a delightful companion led us on the "Perfumes of Mauritius" excursion, which was quite informative. A highly professional young man assisted me with my check-in at the airport on January 5. I highly recommend Shell Happiness.
We utilized this company for airport transfers and three full-day excursions. Their service exceeded our expectations, including a representative visiting our hotel on the first day to ensure everything was in order. They communicated via WhatsApp the night before each trip with the driver's name and time. Our drivers, Hughes and Bernard, were very knowledgeable about Mauritius and accommodating. The vehicles were comfortable and had air conditioning. Upon returning to Mauritius airport, a representative was there waiting with a trolley to assist us through bag drop and offered to stay with us until we reached security. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for anyone visiting Mauritius.
We had a fantastic day surrounded by stunning landscapes. The tea tasting was enjoyable, but our highlight was definitely seeing the giant tortoises. Our guide Bernard was friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience a true pleasure.
I highly recommend this experience. Initially, I was unsure about booking with them due to higher prices compared to others, but I'm glad I did. The car was in excellent condition, which mattered given the road conditions. Bernard was great throughout our airport transfer and the two excursions. Yuvrin was also very helpful and accessible.
We arranged our trip through our hotel representative, Yuvrin, who was very attentive during our stay. The air-conditioned vehicle we were picked up in was immaculate, which was a great start. Our driver was both friendly and knowledgeable, sharing insights about the sights along the way. The itinerary included a Hindu monument, a visit to a tea factory for a tasting experience, a vanilla plantation, a rum distillery with rum sampling, a colonial house, and lunch. The day was very well organized and enjoyable. We appreciate learning about local history and culture when we travel, and this experience offered plenty of that. I highly recommend this company and this day out.
