We explored the eastern part of the island and had the chance to see monkeys and birds up close. It was definitely worth the cost.

Snorkeling in the clear lagoons was a standout experience—brimming with vibrant fish and beautiful corals, and the gear was just right for our children. We relished the delicious lunch on the island and appreciated the leisurely pace, allowing us plenty of time to swim and capture countless photos. Ultimately, it was excellent value, creating memories we will cherish for years to come. The trip included a visit to an island where we enjoyed an incredible Mauritian BBQ with delicious grilled fish and chicken, accompanied by a generous selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The service was excellent, and everything was managed perfectly. Visiting Ile Phare was a delightful extra. The inclusion of pick-up and drop-off made the day completely hassle-free. The five islands tour provided a great experience, but there were some issues. I thought we would start at Blue Bay, so we planned to stay in Mahebourg the night before. Instead, the excursion began with a one-hour drive, which felt long for starting and ending the day. I also expected two hours on Deer Island for activities and lunch, but that wasn’t the case. Previously, I enjoyed a similar trip with a guide who joined us for lunch and provided musical entertainment, but this time we ate separately without any local music, which was disappointing. On the positive side, our boat pilot was an excellent host. He was cheerful and engaged, and even though we didn't share a language with other guests, he helped us connect through music. The atmosphere was truly enjoyable, thanks to him.
