The morning pickup from our hotel was right on schedule. Our taxi driver was very informative, sharing plenty of details about the island. The tour began promptly, starting with a coffee before we headed to the waterfall. Despite the many tourist boats, the view remained impressive. We had a great time on the tour and would gladly book it again.

The experience did not match what was described. We were picked up at 7:15 AM for a 9 AM start, and the driver was nice. However, upon arrival, no one was there, and the check-in office was uninviting and barely open. We didn't leave until 10:30 AM, losing valuable beach time we had hoped for. Ile aux Cerfs was stunning, and we enjoyed our time there. The catamaran was decent, and the food was okay, but the music was too loud and unpleasant. The snorkeling gear needed attention and wasn't fully functional. While free drinks were available, they ran out, and there was no afternoon snack. We did conclude the tour with a visit to a beautiful waterfall. Overall, we had a good day and checked off some items from our list, but the trip fell short of expectations.

Upon boarding the crowded speedboat, we mistakenly thought it was taking us to one of the nearby catamarans. By the time we realized there would be no catamaran, it was too late. We expected a relaxing day on a sailboat, not sitting in front of two noisy engines, trying to hold onto our belongings while the captain recklessly maneuvered the boat. Although the company acknowledged their mistake, they offered no compensation, suggesting that the speedboat tour's popularity meant we should have enjoyed it. We did not enjoy the experience, and we feel a day of our vacation was wasted due to the company's failures.

The BBQ lunch served on board was freshly prepared and delicious, with a wide array of food and drink options. Everything surpassed our expectations! Reaching Île aux Cerfs was the highlight, featuring pristine sandy beaches, warm shallow waters, and plenty of time to relax or partake in water sports. It’s a stunning location and undoubtedly a must-see when in Mauritius. Overall, this experience was worth every penny, providing an ideal combination of relaxation, adventure, and breathtaking scenery. I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Mauritius and would happily experience it again.
The second tour was executed flawlessly once more. Both pick up and drop off happened right on schedule. The boat crew was very engaging and supportive. The barbecue chicken was delicious, and the entertainment was enjoyable.
