He arrived on time the next day to meet my husband and me, and we were the sole participants in the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the journey through the mountains, where he shared his extensive knowledge about the local Indigenous tribes. We also visited Cherokee, North Carolina. This trip was incredible, and Wes, our guide, made it even better. He was both knowledgeable and entertaining, and you could tell he was experienced. He guided us to breathtaking spots, where we saw the largest bull elk we've ever encountered, along with several females. It was a stunning and unforgettable experience. We are already planning to return next year and hope to have Wes for a personalized tour. Booking this trip was a decision we will always cherish. This was an excellent tour. Philip was our guide and he truly stood out with his extensive knowledge of the region, particularly regarding the Cherokee tribe and their history in the Smoky Mountains. I would absolutely recommend this trip. We even switched our Cades Cove tour from Pink Jeep so we could experience Philip's Cades Cove tour as well, which I'm sure will be just as fantastic.

Visiting Smokey Mountain National Park had been a long-time dream, and we finally made it while in Charlotte. It was a stunning October day, and the park was magnificent. Our tour, “Over The Top Tour in Oconaluftee,” led by our guide Phillip, was excellent. Born and raised in North Carolina, Phillip was incredibly knowledgeable about the park's offerings. His passion for the area was evident as he took us to see the breathtaking views with the fall colors. He shared the park's history and even took pictures of us amidst the stunning scenery. We had a fantastic day, thanks largely to Phillip. Thank you!
Our tour last Wednesday with Wes was truly amazing. It felt less like a typical tour and more like catching up with a long-time friend while exploring breathtaking landscapes. Wes shared a wealth of knowledge, and every location he took us to was beautiful and informative. He even located a family of elk for us to observe and then skillfully avoided traffic by showing us other interesting sights instead. I strongly recommend this company.
We were truly let down. Out of five hours, we only had about 45 minutes to explore because we spent most of the time in the van. The tour felt excessively priced. Although the fog in the Smoky Mountains was beyond anyone's control, we couldn't stop on the way back when the skies cleared. I would not recommend this tour.
