I had a positive experience and gained a lot of knowledge.
The tour offered captivating insights into Gatlinburg's history, including notable deaths during its development. We visited a hidden cemetery in the heart of town that you might miss if not guided. Chad's storytelling was lively and engaging.
Chad, our tour guide, shared captivating stories and made the tour engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, despite an unpleasant encounter with a rude employee at the Gatlinburg Inn who scolded us for being too close to the building. Chad was excellent!
During our travels, we enjoy booking ghost tours in various cities for the historical insights. Recently, we took a tour in Gatlinburg on a rainy night, just the two of us. Despite the weather, we had an enjoyable experience and gained knowledge from the tales our guide, Chad, shared. Chad was dedicated and led us around Gatlinburg, discussing different sites and their histories. We recommend taking this tour if you find yourself in Gatlinburg.
Be prepared for plenty of walking, both uphill and downhill. The guide was fantastic, sharing informative and amusing stories. My youngest initially felt apprehensive, but by the time we reached the church, he was eagerly taking photos of every window, hoping to spot a ghost. I would definitely participate in this tour again.
The tour lacked interest, and the stories didn't even relate to actual hauntings. We visited a church, merely peering through the windows, and no narrative accompanied the visit. Overall, it felt overpriced and not worth the cost.
The lighting was inadequate, and the walking conditions were challenging, as we walked up a steep hill in a cemetery at night. Additionally, it was hard to hear the guide.
Jacob was an exceptional guide who shared a wealth of knowledge about each location, thoroughly engaging us with its history. I also regret not reviewing my photos from the tour sooner because I captured an image of the cemetery featuring two glowing white dots that appeared like eyes, which were absent in a earlier shot taken moments before near a tree at the back. It might be a reflection, but it was quite spooky, considering the area was surrounded by trees.
The walk involves some hills, but there are spots to rest during the storytelling. The haunted and historical tales are well-presented, and the delivery is engaging without being frightening, making it enjoyable for all ages.
Excellent tour that offered a wealth of information, both historical and mystical. I particularly enjoyed learning about the history of Gatlinburg and its surrounding region.
