Despite the rain during our Stroll Back in Time tour, Lucy’s cheerful spirit brightened the experience. We began at the Greenbrier Entrance, and even though we got soaked, Lucy’s enthusiasm kept us engaged as we explored the trail for about an hour. When lightning prompted us to head back, her positivity remained infectious, showcasing her love for the Smokies regardless of the weather. Although the tour didn't last as long as we hoped, Lucy transformed a challenging experience into something truly memorable. I'd happily join her for another hike, rain or shine.
Debbie, our guide, was exceptional. She inquired about our interests and shared her extensive knowledge of wildlife, plants, park history, and stories of past families. We will definitely take these tours again, as it's a fantastic way to experience nature while learning from a skilled former park ranger.
Mike was outstanding in his role. He shared insights on different plants and their uses while highlighting wildlife along the trail. His knowledge of the barn, cabin, and the local history was impressive.
I had a fun and informative hike on a rainy day in Gatlinburg. Luci, our friendly guide, shared a lot of interesting historical insights about the area. I definitely recommend her! The trail is fairly easy but has some inclines.
