Two hours of walking through Gatlinburg’s haunted back roads with a guide; learn to use ghost-hunting equipment while exploring local folklore.
This two-hour walking tour takes you through Gatlinburg's eerie history and legends, covering about one mile on flat, paved ground. You’ll have the opportunity to use ghost-hunting tools typically seen on television, all while learning the local lore from your guide.
Groups typically range from the high teens to low twenties, but you’ll have plenty of room to maintain distance. While there are no seating areas or restrooms during the tour, you can enjoy a relaxed pace with several stops along the way. For transportation, free parking is provided, and taxis, Uber, or Lyft are alternate options since Trolleys do not run late.
Reviews
The tour was an ideal duration, allowing us to learn a lot of local history while giving us time to explore the various stops with the ghost equipment provided. We even spotted a black bear.
Cathy was fantastic, very friendly, and relaxed. She had a wealth of knowledge and truly connected with the spirits. It was an incredible tour.
My daughter and I had a great time on the tour. We picked up a lot of interesting information, and our guide was outstanding. We strongly recommend it. An added bonus was spotting bears!
Pete was a great guide, and we had a fun activity at the Presbyterian church. At the beginning, my husband received a beware Diablo alert on the device.
I had a fantastic experience! The guide shared wonderful stories and was really friendly.
It was an enjoyable and educational experience. We had a great time.
The tour was incredibly enjoyable. Pete, our guide, brought a wealth of knowledge and a great sense of humor to the experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening ghost tour in Gatlinburg with Mark as our guide. Make sure to connect with Tate Marr during your visit to the cemetery; I had a memorable interaction with him. Mark is very knowledgeable about the history and streets of Gatlinburg, providing a worthwhile experience.
Mark was incredible! The experience was absolutely worth the cost. I really enjoyed learning about the area. Although we didn't spot anything, we have no regrets about choosing this tour. I couldn't be happier with the experience and would fully recommend it.
I was let down by this experience. While the guide was friendly and spent two hours with us, the activity itself wasn't engaging. The guide provided some local insights and talked about notable deaths, but that could have been summarized in 15-20 minutes. Overall, there was too much standing around and recalling past tours. Despite the guide's kindness, I can't recommend this.
