Our family had an excellent time. The two-hour rafting trip was ideal for us as newcomers to the activity. There were enough rapids to enjoy the thrill, with pauses to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. My wife and our three boys (ages 13, 10, and 8) all had a wonderful experience.
At 71 years old and a bit anxious, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was physically demanding, but I particularly loved swimming. An added highlight was floating by elk while cooling off in the river. Brandon was not only funny but also very skilled at what he did.
Rafting on the Yellowstone River was a fantastic experience for our family, including our two teenagers, aged 17 and 15. Josh, our guide, was incredible—entertaining and very knowledgeable. Seeing a herd of elk up close was definitely a highlight. Earlier that day, we also enjoyed the saddle ride, which was excellent.
The operation is well-managed. The facility is tidy and fully equipped. Our guide was well-informed about the local area and its history. I would highly recommend this experience.

This was an exhilarating experience and the highlight of our week in Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Our rafting adventure with Wild West Rafting was seamless and enjoyable, and I would strongly recommend them. Bohdi, our adventurous guide, added to the fun. As a first-time rafter, I appreciated his clear instructions and engaging stories, which made the experience special for everyone in the group. We even spotted elk along the river, and some of us took a dip in the water—I'm definitely looking forward to another trip with them in the future. Additionally, the clean bathrooms and changing rooms were a nice touch. Thank you, Wild West Rafting team!
The staff was fantastic, and we had an amazing adventure. The check-in process was simple, and they provide all the necessary gear. We enjoyed a beautiful day, using only their footwear. Overall, we really loved the experience.
We experienced a peaceful journey on the Yellowstone River with our guide Tom, who expertly navigated the gentle rapids while sharing insights about the area's history and geography. Tom was particularly accommodating with my older mother, assisting her on a rocky route to enter the raft. Although our feet got slightly wet, water shoes were provided, and the playful splashing during the rapids added to the enjoyment. The rest of our group chose the white water trip and spoke highly of both the guides and the river experience. Overall, it was a fantastic outing with understanding, skilled staff. I highly recommend it.
