The driver who picked me up in Cape Town was exceptionally accommodating. I was transferring hotels on my dive day and asked if my luggage could go with him to my new hotel; he assured me it could, which saved me time and money. Diving with the sharks was an incredible experience. Being just 20cm away from a 3-metre long shark was truly remarkable. Although the sharks took some time to show up, the crew remained positive and eventually found a spot with plenty of them, allowing us ample time in the water. I really appreciate the fantastic experience.
We had a wonderful experience as a family of five, spotting bronze sharks reaching up to 3 meters. The crew was excellent, and we felt completely safe. Breakfast and a tasty lasagna were served after the boat trip, which was a nice touch.

The experience was well organized, with assistance in sizing and putting on wetsuits, as they have a wide range of sizes available. The guides were knowledgeable about sharks and were excellent hosts. The lasagna served at the end was surprisingly good. At this location, you mainly see copper/bronze whalers due to the decline in white shark populations from orca predation, which was rare for us as well. Overall, it was a unique experience. We drove from Cape Town and enjoyed breakfast, diving, lunch, and then visited Stranvald vineyards and Cape Agulhas. Although it was a long day, the coastal drive back to Strand was well worth it.
The team at White Shark Diving Company is outstanding. This was a bucket list experience for my son and me, and it exceeded our expectations. We organized our trip from Canada and had numerous questions, all of which the staff addressed promptly and helpfully. The experience itself was incredible. The crew displayed high levels of professionalism and had extensive knowledge about the sharks. The breakfast and lunch provided were delightful. We enjoyed a fantastic morning on a beautiful boat, guided by a wonderful captain and crew. They even provided towels, which was convenient while traveling. While we didn’t spot any great white sharks, we encountered 5-6 bronze-nosed sharks and a playful seal, both of which were thrilling to witness. It's unfortunate that killer whales have driven the great whites away, but we still saw plenty of sharks and had an amazing time. We would definitely repeat this trip without hesitation.
