Our visit to the Embera village with Dennis was truly enchanting. The tour was not only informative, but Dennis showed professionalism, friendliness, and a deep understanding of Panama and the Embera culture. I highly recommend this experience. He also arranged all transportation and was accommodating with pick-up and drop-off times, making it an exceptional outing.
This was the best tour I experienced in Panama, offering a great mix of activities. Swimming at the falls was fantastic, and the boat ride was both smooth and enjoyable. The cultural tour was informative, with tasty food included, and our guide was excellent. The children were delightful, and the little dance at the end was a fun way to connect with them. This tour is a must for your itinerary.
This was a fantastic adventure. Dennis served as our guide, and we had the opportunity to see a stunning waterfall and explore an indigenous village. It truly was a remarkable experience.
This tour is absolutely essential; it offers a deep cultural experience where you can meet and learn about indigenous peoples. They provide food and fruits, and the dancing was the highlight. I would certainly do it again.
My wife would rate this tour six out of five stars. Our guide, Mike H., was on time, friendly, professional, patient, and exceptionally knowledgeable about everything along the way to the Embera tour and during the tour itself. He provided extensive information about the neighborhoods, historic sites, public transport, significant road networks, and local schools and churches. Additionally, he gave us insights into the Panama indigenous tribes and their locations. I highly recommend this tour with him—it's a must-do when in the Panama City area. The waterfall visit surpassed our expectations, and the Embera village experience was outstanding. The tribe was authentically committed to their customs, which was admirable. Overall, this tour was the highlight of our trip to Panama. However, we received no prep instructions, which made things challenging. We didn’t know what to wear or bring, so we missed the chance to wear our swimsuits. Carrying our belongings made the hike to the falls more difficult. We were somewhat prepared for the moderate hike with slippery paths and uneven surfaces because we wore sturdy water shoes, but others in flip-flops struggled. Note that the hike isn’t for everyone, and you won't learn about it until you reach the canoe drop-off. Be ready for it. If you are flexible and prepared, you’ll enjoy a fantastic experience.
The experience was truly remarkable. Denis, our tour guide, collected me from the hotel right on time and even provided water for us. We made our way to the Embere tribe in comfort, and the journey was seamless from beginning to end. He has a deep understanding of Embere culture and shared valuable tips about Panama.
This was a pleasant excursion that allowed me to learn about the Embera people in Panama.
