Oscar, our tour guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The El Valle visitor center offered a good overview and history of the area. The Nispero Zoo is impressively laid out and enjoyable, with animals that are quite tame and blends well into the rainforest. El Macho waterfall is stunning, and the surroundings are well maintained, making it a great spot to relax or opt for something adventurous like zip lining. I even spotted a sloth in a tree above the swimming area. The petroglyphs are intriguing, and we had a nice time visiting a small waterfall where we could dip into the refreshing waters. The craft market had several options for souvenirs and lunch, and the Pipa (coconut water) ice cream was a unique treat. Overall, it's a charming small village, perfect for escaping the chaos of city life.
