This self-guided audio driving tour offers an engaging way to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Once you download the GuideAlong audio tour on your device, you can navigate the parks while hearing stories and local tips that play automatically based on your location. The tour covers both well-known highlights, like the largest tree in the world and the car-sized tunnel through a sequoia, as well as lesser-known spots perfect for wildlife spotting.

Downloading and using the app was simple, and I found the narration to be informative, educational, and at times quite humorous.
I couldn't use the audio guides I purchased because of the mountainous terrain in Yosemite and Kings Canyon. There was no warning about this, making it a complete waste of money. I bought two audio guides, and neither functioned. I feel scammed; I wasted $32.00.
There was no cell reception in the park, so the tour couldn't take place. Additionally, I found the signup process for the tour to be quite difficult.
The guide enhanced our experience significantly by navigating the park and highlighting historical sites we might have overlooked. I plan to buy similar tours for other nearby parks.
I did not find the program beneficial. I faced challenges with the download process, which may have been my fault. Sequoia is clearly marked, but I couldn't reach Kings Canyon due to parking difficulties. There were too many vehicles, with people parking all day, particularly at General Sherman, which I never visited. Handicapped parking was mixed with regular parking, although there was a designated lot. I would not recommend this guide personally.
This guided tour was fantastic. I started the app before getting to Sequoia National Park, and by the time I got to the entrance, the tour was already in progress. I learned about many spots I wouldn't have known to explore without it. The guide highlighted all the key attractions and shared interesting facts and history throughout. I'm definitely planning to buy this guided tour for my upcoming visits to national parks.
We gained insights that we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and plan to utilize this for all our future travels.
The audio tour was impressively done. The GPS functioned flawlessly, accurately tracking our location as we explored various areas over several days. I would definitely consider using this service again for another vehicle tour. Thank you.
The guide provided a lot of helpful information. Although it was somewhat confusing to begin with, once we were inside the park, the experience was excellent.
A great option for those who lack time to plan, this experience fills that gap perfectly and offers interesting activities.
