Reviews
The Virtual Hunt was not what I anticipated. I expected a guided experience with a host, but it turned out to be entirely phone-based. We decided to stop participating upon realizing this, and there was no option for a refund. It might suit younger kids who enjoy using their phones, but it was disappointing for someone older.
It was an enjoyable experience that helped us discover the city and understand its history. I would certainly consider using this for other cities as well.
Exploring Fredericksburg this way was truly enjoyable and a refreshing change from the usual wine tastings. We picked up some interesting knowledge during the tour, which was a wonderful extra. Our guide was entertaining and enhanced the overall experience.
The AlleyKat adventure hunts have been enjoyable experiences for us, and this particular one in Fredericksburg was one of the best. We gained a great deal of historical knowledge and visited some truly amazing locations.
We sought an enjoyable activity for our three generations and this experience met our needs. Setting a target engaged everyone. However, our first stop was a charming antique shop where the owners were not pleased with us browsing for a specific item we had no plans to purchase. We also encountered a business that had closed and a shop that was quite small. I believe this concept is great but could benefit from better coordination with the shop owners.
This house is truly incredible for a stay. It's located just a short drive from downtown Fredericksburg. With its two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it offers all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The furnishings are great, featuring cozy king-sized beds and an excellent walk-in shower in the master bedroom. Karen, the owner, is extremely helpful and readily available to answer any questions. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.
It felt like just a woman sending us a text with a list of places to check out. I found it quite disappointing and not worth the cost for our group of four. Not impressed.
My friend and I found this city tour and scavenger hunt to be very disappointing compared to others we've experienced. It was just a PowerPoint with five pages listing places to visit, some of which were permanently closed. There were no games or challenges, just collecting points and taking selfies at each location. We anticipated much more than what was offered.
If you think spending $50 to exchange messages with AI suggesting random places is enjoyable, then this tour might be suitable for you.
This experience does not qualify as a scavenger hunt. Instead, they provide a basic PowerPoint with shopping locations, one of which was even permanently shut down. The virtual guide is an AI bot. Overall, it was a waste of money.
