Reviews
This experience was incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and the property was beautiful. Interacting with the giraffes and rhinos was fantastic, especially learning about them and feeding them. The highlight was meeting the newest family member, a 4-day-old baby named Winnie, who I nearly wanted to take home. I highly recommend booking this experience. Thank you, Longneck Manor.
I can only say wow! The staff possesses extensive knowledge about the rhinos and giraffes. From my viewpoint, the admission price is reasonable, though it's not inexpensive. We spent around 3 hours there. It was warm, but there was ample shade. They manage crowd size effectively, allowing you to fully enjoy the experiences.
I hesitated at first about spending on a weekend getaway, but I’m so glad I did. The villa was stunning, and relaxing on the patio to watch the animals was a highlight. We could easily have stayed on the property, but it was just a short 15-20 minute drive to wineries and restaurants. Breakfast was included, and I wish I could’ve taken the basket home. We had many chances to interact with the animals, making it one of the most relaxing experiences I've had. I also want to thank Noel, our guide for the weekend, who was attentive and answered all our many questions. My only disappointment is that I only booked for 2 nights instead of 3. If you’re considering a splurge for a trip, this is the one to choose.
Interacting with wildlife in an intimate group was a fantastic experience. Samantha and Noel provided detailed information and answered all our questions with patience. I highly recommend this trip.
Entering the property through the stunning iron gates instantly gives you the feeling of being in Africa.
The Longneck Animal Encounters tour was a lot of fun. Our two guides were friendly and knowledgeable, providing us with ample food to feed the many giraffes. It was a wonderful experience that taught us a great deal about the animals. The gift shop offered some enjoyable T-shirts and souvenirs, and both the building and restrooms were spotless. We intend to return to Fredericksburg in the fall and will definitely participate in this tour again.
This experience exceeded my expectations significantly. The animals are stunning, and the guides were very knowledgeable, addressing all my inquiries. Longneck Manor is a lovely location, well-maintained, with incredibly welcoming staff.
