For our honeymoon, we relied on the winelands guides and had Prince as our driver for the private tour. He was punctual and everything went smoothly. Prince was an excellent guide for the lengthy drive; his charisma kept the conversation lively, sharing insights about both Cape Town's culture and the wine region. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially sampling the wines. We visited four wineries and had a delightful lunch at Meraki in downtown Stellenbosch. Our favorite stop was L’Avenir, a charming farmhouse winery featuring a lovely outdoor area teeming with hummingbirds and flowers, along with some chickens wandering about. Prince also introduced us to a mix of small and larger wineries, providing a well-rounded experience of the region. We highly recommend the Winelands Guides.
Our day spent wine tasting at three distinct vineyards in Franschhoek was remarkable, followed by a lovely lunch at a local restaurant.
