We enjoyed a fantastic day with Aby, who was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable, ensuring we went at a comfortable pace. The wine tastings at Grand Provence, La Bri, and Rickety Bridge were exceptional, and even in the pouring rain, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this for cyclists of all skill levels.
This was a wonderful mountain bike tour featuring some challenging hills. The wine tastings were enjoyable, and our guide was excellent. The mountain bikes were in good condition too.
This was an excellent way to explore and understand the area. We had a fantastic day visiting different wineries and enjoying wine tastings while the children sampled juices. The itinerary included a great variety of locations, and our guide was both friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful day with our guide, Abi, who was outstanding. The cycling was easygoing and incredibly enjoyable, and the winery visits were fantastic. I believe this is a far superior way to explore Franschhoek compared to driving. I highly recommend this tour.
We had a fantastic day on the bike tour in Franschhoek as a family. The scenery was beautiful, and we appreciated the short rides connecting the wineries. Abi and his team were knowledgeable and helpful, sharing interesting aspects of South African history. The wine was excellent, and we savored a relaxing lunch at one of the vineyards. It was a wonderful way to spend the day.
Finding the starting point was straightforward. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and our guide Keenan went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable day. At the first wine estate, we were pleasantly surprised with champagne. Each of the three wineries offered a unique experience, and the route was enjoyable. However, the bikes were not in the best condition, lacking proper suspension and with cracked pedals.
This tour was a fantastic way to experience wine tasting. The bike ride between three vineyards was enjoyable, with one tasting offering choices like chocolate, biltong, or Turkish delight. It was a relaxed ride that allowed us to appreciate Franschhoek, complete with stops and insights from our guide. We tasted a total of 11 different wines. Highly recommended.
Our day with Lee was fantastic. His knowledge of the area and culture enriched our experience. Exploring the valley by bike was truly unique and rewarding. Each of the three vineyards was outstanding, and the ambassadors provided detailed insights on the wine production and flavor differences.
A fantastic way to explore the wineries and hidden streets of Franschhoek and its beautiful countryside. Our bike guide, Walter, was attentive and engaging throughout the experience, sharing his extensive knowledge about the wines and area. We had a great time with him. The three wineries we visited—Backsberg, La Bri, and Rickety Bridge—were all stunning and offered breathtaking views from their tasting areas. The wines and pairings were delightful. The only challenge was resisting the urge to drink too much, knowing we had to bike afterward. This was an incredible value; I would certainly do it again.
