Despite the heat reaching 37 degrees, Mandla’s patience was impressive. We visited three welcoming vineyards for wine tasting, and the entire day was exceptionally well organized. We enjoyed an excellent tour today with our guide Abie, who took us cycling through the stunning Franschhoek region on great mountain bikes. The experience included three delightful wine tastings and a wonderful lunch at Estate Mont Rochelle. What truly set this tour apart were the insights Abie shared about contemporary South Africa and the country's rich history. Spending the day cycling through such beautiful scenery with a local guide was incredibly rewarding.
