The bus was not timely, which affected our experience. Although the tour guide was pleasant, we only completed one circuit after arriving at 11:00. We had to walk back to the visitor center since they didn't pick us up from the History and Culture center, leaving us with no time for additional activities. Overall, it wasn't worth the cost.
Doug instructed us to enjoy the first stop, but when we got off, we discovered the Cultural Center was closed. We spent an hour waiting for the bus, only to see it drive right past us. The stops were unmarked, and finding our way back to the visitor center was challenging, leading us to retrieve our car.
This is an excellent way to explore the sights without the hassle of finding parking. Plus, you get to learn about the area's history.
The history of Franklin and its journey to the present day was fascinating. Our guide was outstanding, making the experience both enjoyable and educational.
I was let down by the communication regarding our trolley trip. We booked for early September, but on our way to Franklin at the end of October, we were told the tour was canceled because of a pumpkin festival and crowded conditions. This should have been noted as a special day on the schedule or tours should have been suspended. A day of our vacation was wasted traveling to Franklin when we could have planned better. I am truly disappointed.
Our tour was canceled on the morning of the event because of a Pumpkin Fest. It's frustrating that we could book for this date when the festival was already scheduled. We could have arranged an alternative activity instead.
This historical tour is excellent, and the guide has a deep understanding of Franklin. You can disembark and explore any of the featured sites, which we highly suggest doing.
An excellent historical tour. I suggest getting off the bus at a few stops. I completed the circuit and then hopped off during the second round. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
The experience was enjoyable and provided a comfortable way to take in the sights. Our guide was friendly and well-informed, and the driver also contributed positively to the overall atmosphere.
The Trolley Tour was both informative and enjoyable. Doug shares a wealth of interesting facts about Franklin, though we only retain about 30% of what he says. Joe provides a smooth, safe ride. People of all ages truly appreciate the tour, and the ability to hop off at various attractions in Franklin and be picked up later is a fantastic advantage. We highly recommend this experience.
