  Fun times with big Tom, the man of many fun facts and historical crazy stories of life here in Texas.

  Big Tom was an outstanding guide with a wealth of knowledge about the stockyards and Texas history. We enjoyed sampling some great IPAs, beers, and spirits throughout the tour. He also took us to several local spots and shared amusing anecdotes about the area.

  Small Group, Big Experience - More than a Pub Crawl

  We went on the Stockyards History Tour Fort Worth Pub Crawl in late March, and it was one of the best parts of our visit to Fort Worth. The tour included four historic saloons in the Stockyards, but what truly distinguished it was our guide, Big Tom. Tom has extensive knowledge about the area and brought the history to life in a captivating and understandable manner. His timing of humor added fun without detracting from the stories. As the only family on the tour that day, we enjoyed a more tailored experience. The tour was very much worth the price. While drinks aren’t included, this didn't diminish the enjoyment. The emphasis on the history and ambiance at each stop made it feel more substantial than an ordinary bar crawl, and the distance walked was minimal. After the tour concluded, Tom took the time to chat with us further and shared additional suggestions for things to do in the area. That extra effort made a significant impact. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Fort Worth, whether you are interested in history, seeking a unique activity, or simply want a great introduction to the Stockyards.

  More then pubs

  The guide was a wealth of information and very friendly, sharing numerous historical facts along with intriguing trivia. I appreciated his promptness and assistance. I’m glad the tour included more than just pubs and beer.

  Great fun!

  We had an excellent time exploring a fantastic variety of bars during our night out. It was definitely one of our favorite activities in the Stock Yards, though it could be shortened by about 30 to 40 minutes.

  Great History Lesson of Fort Worth

  This was our second time taking this tour, and we did it again for my family visiting from Germany. Big Tom was fantastic in sharing the history of Fort Worth and the stockyards, and he met our special requests with ease. We'll certainly do this tour again for future guests. Big Tom was excellent.

  Big Tom and Hannah provided us with fascinating history about the stockyards in Fort Worth. We had a fantastic time exploring the honky tonks and enjoying cowboy tales while sipping our favorite drinks.
