Reviews
The package was enjoyable and the staff were excellent. Taking the photo with the bull was a lot of fun, and we appreciated the sightseeing. The food was tasty, though there weren't many options. Since part of the venue was closed off during our Tuesday lunch visit, I suggest going later in the day.
We had a fantastic time! Prepaying for the package was a breeze. Billy Bob's was incredible—great music, dancing, and delicious food. We ended our visit with shopping and took a fun photo on the bull.
The night out was fantastic, especially riding the bull, which was the highlight. The music and bars were enjoyable, but the meal was disappointing. Despite a $20 voucher, the limited choices and quality didn't meet my expectations for a proper BBQ.
We bought a package that granted access to Billy Bob’s on a weekend with a concert, a meal voucher, a rodeo ticket, a koozie, and a photo on a fake bull. It offered good value and encompassed everything I wanted to enjoy with my nephew. We arrived early at 6:30 p.m. and found convenient free parking nearby. The barbecue sandwiches with fries were delicious. The rodeo featured five bull riders and lasted around 30 minutes. There was another show at 9:30 p.m., but the stands were packed, with lots of excitement for the young riders, though none managed to stay on for the full eight seconds. We also snapped a great picture pretending to be bull riders, which serves as a fun memento from the night. We left around 9 p.m. before the band began, and only a few people were dancing at that time. However, there were hundreds waiting in line to enter, so I can only imagine how lively it was by midnight. It's truly a unique experience in Fort Worth.
There is so much to experience at the Stockyard, and I really enjoyed Billy Bob's BBQ. I also found Texas Live to have great food, and I attended a Texas Ranger ballgame. South Fork Ranch and the JFK & Bush museums were highlights as well.
Entry was a bit rocky since our tickets were missing. The guide eventually located us and apologized for the mix-up. I also hoped for more dance lessons beyond just the one. However, the food was excellent.
I had an incredible time at Billy Bob's. The food was delicious, the music fantastic, and the line dancing was a lot of fun. The live band was excellent and got everyone dancing.
The staff were fantastic, especially Emanual who went out of his way to clean up the back alley and assist my disabled mother. I tried to give him a tip for his help, but he kindly refused. He's a very friendly and kind gentleman. Thank you, Emanual.
It was a really enjoyable experience. We had a great time eating, dancing, and having fun. My 8-year-old loved dancing with us, and we took some great pictures.
Billy Bobs and the Stockhouse are essential visits in the Fort Worth/Dallas region. The voucher includes the $4 entry fee, a complimentary picture on a fake bill, and $20 for food. While Billy Bobs offers a wide range of entertaining activities and is quite large, I found that skipping the voucher would have actually saved me money; I spent $50 when I could have only paid $36 without it.
