Reviews
The captain and tour guide were excellent, but there was not much action on the water with dolphins or manatees. We cruised the harbor and viewed some lovely homes on “millionaire row,” though it felt somewhat uneventful. Ryan provided some great suggestions for restaurants and bars.
The boat tour was incredible! We spotted numerous dolphins and manatees. Forest, our guide, was excellent and made the experience enjoyable.
We were lucky enough to spot dolphins and a manatee swimming right next to our boat as they surfaced for air, which made for some incredible video footage.
I enjoyed a fantastic daytime dolphin and manatee tour with captains Forest and Blake. They were exceptional guides and made the experience fun. I strongly recommend Dolphin Bay Charters.
We encountered numerous playful dolphins and manatees. The weather was ideal! The parking area is conveniently located at the dock, and the journey to Sanibel Lighthouse was lovely.
We recently participated in the Fort Myers Beach Dolphin and Sightseeing Tour, but it fell short of our expectations. Unlike previous dolphin tours, this one felt lackluster and not worth the cost. The boat went at a slow pace in a large circle without the excitement of dolphins chasing after it. We only spotted three dolphin fins in the bay, which you could easily see from the beach. Ironically, we witnessed more dolphin activity near our condo right after the tour. On a positive note, Ryan, the boat captain, was friendly and tried hard to make the experience enjoyable. Other guests we spoke with shared our disappointment, feeling the tour was a waste of time and money. While it wasn't an awful experience, I wouldn't recommend it to others. The pictures included show what we saw from the boat, except for the dolphin jumping taken from our condo just after returning from the trip.
Having a fantastic experience with the captain while observing wildlife in their natural environment is a highlight. I would definitely suggest this charter and captain to everyone.
I had an incredible experience with Captain Dan on the dolphin and manatee tour. We spotted several dolphins and manatees, and I gained valuable insights about the impact of Hurricane Ian. I learned a lot and plan to return.
We had a fantastic experience. The captain and crew went above and beyond to ensure we spotted everything we hoped for, whether it was dolphins or manatees. Their great sense of humor made the outing truly enjoyable.
The guide was excellent, and we departed right on time. Soft drinks and water were offered, and we got to see playful dolphins, manatees, eagle manta rays, and various birds.
