We planned ahead and booked the kayak tour weeks before our trip. The evening beforehand, we received a message asking about our preference for single or double kayaks. However, upon arrival, we were told the original company was fully booked, and we would be switched to another company. The person delivering this news was rude and suggested we could request a refund if we were unhappy. Having driven 45 minutes, we decided to stay, but the tour fell short of our expectations. The guide was arrogant and made repeated comments about me being the slowest in the group, adding to the unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was not an enjoyable experience, and we were relieved when it concluded. I don’t understand why we weren't informed about the change the night before; this lack of communication created unnecessary confusion and anxiety.

The weather was ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding. Joey and Kevin were fantastic guides, making our morning enjoyable. We saw a manatee's nose, along with Ospreys and other birds. This was my second outing with Island Breeze, which is easy to locate and offers excellent gear. The paddleboard felt very stable, and the kayak seat was comfortable. I highly recommend it.
