We joined an excursion after our cruise on the Icon before heading home, and it was truly remarkable. Unfortunately, due to the drought, we couldn't do the speed run, but that’s nature's doing. Our guide and driver, Victor, greatly enhanced our experience. We spotted several alligators, and one swam by in the canal, allowing us to admire it up close multiple times. Victor's detailed explanations were impressive; he presented information in an accessible way that even beginners could grasp. The show afterward was also a highlight, filled with engagement and interesting facts. It was a fantastic way to spend a few hours and check something off our bucket list.
I would not recommend going. The operators were rude, and we ended up leaving.
My husband and I were fortunate to have the chance to visit here during our honeymoon, thanks to a dear friend. The airboat tour in the Everglades was stunning, and we didn't want it to end. Experiencing the American alligator up close was an incredible moment. We plan to return with our kids for another visit.
We had an excellent experience. It was wonderful to observe alligators, turtles, and various birds in their natural environment. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
The staff were excellent. After our boat tour, we forgot to collect our photograph, but they generously located it and sent it to us without any charge. I’m not aware of any other business that would provide such a service. The tour itself was fantastic, featuring plenty of wildlife and alligators. Our guide ensured that both sides of the boat had great views. I’d give it a perfect score.
My family and I decided to take a last-minute trip before returning to England. Captain Anna was exceptional, and my daughter really enjoyed her pink boat. I highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it.
The airboat tour was disappointing. Contrary to the description that promised a glide over grass, we simply crawled along a man-made canal system. This felt far from a genuine Everglades experience.
The tour left a lot to be desired. We moved at a snail's pace down the artificial canal and saw only a few small alligators and three birds. We could see the boat dock the whole time, just going a short distance before turning back. Two children behind us fell asleep, and my wife and I nodded off a few times as well. My hopes of racing through the marshes and tall grass were not realized. On a brighter note, everyone at the park, including our airboat captain, was friendly and accommodating.
I cannot recommend this park. Our group of 50 was supposed to be picked up at 1:00 PM on May 14th, but only one van showed up on time, while the bus and another van were over 30 minutes late. To add to the frustration, one of the van drivers was very rude to our group. The logistics were poorly managed, and the staff behaved unprofessionally. It's better to spend your money elsewhere.
Visiting the Everglades was a wonderful experience. We spotted a couple of large alligators peeking out from the water, as well as a baby alligator tucked away in the marsh. There were plenty of birds, including a large vulture. Our guide shared insightful historical information about the area, which I appreciated. Keep in mind that if you don't have hotel pickup, the Uber ride from Fort Lauderdale can be quite lengthy. Additionally, the boat’s engine is loud, making it difficult to hear sometimes, but our guide would slow down to explain things and point out what to observe. Overall, it was an enjoyable outing.
