An incredible day trip! Arrive by 6 a.m. and stick to the instructions. Make sure to book the Bimini Beach Club excursion — it offers pools, beach access, bars, food, and a DJ. You can also try watersports; just inquire about them. I went jetskiing right off the beach!
Communication was noticeably poor throughout this experience. We booked it for my friend's birthday, but both of us felt it was a trip we wouldn't remember fondly. We rented a golf cart for the ferry, which was supposed to be returned by 4:30 PM, but around 2 PM, the handler demanded it back, stating they were closing. The booking indicated hours from 6 AM to 6 PM, but the reality was 11 AM to 8:30 PM, which was quite misleading. We checked in by 7 AM but didn't leave until 9 AM, and had to depart Bimini after 6:30 PM, returning past 8 PM. On the island, the only activities were eating and drinking. While the locals were friendly, they also struggled with communication and directing us properly, seeming disconnected from the ferry schedules and cruise port information. Two hours into our time there, I was already ready to head back since we didn't have the golf cart as promised. After returning it, we were left waiting for our boat, and noticed other guests shared similar frustrations. If I could get a refund for this $600 trip, I would, as it was definitely not worth it. Additionally, there was no Wi-Fi on the ferry, and according to the staff, it simply didn't work. Meals should have been included, especially for such a costly two-hour ride. I don't plan to visit Bimini again.
This experience was extremely disorganized. We were redirected three times and there was no assistance from the staff, who also seemed to be confused about the situation. I would not recommend it.
This experience was extremely disappointing. The guide did not respond to my passport submission, and Viator overbooked the tour. I emphasize, do not book if you cannot contact the guide. I lost $600 and received no assistance despite my efforts to communicate. After a four-hour drive for a tour that I couldn't attend, I had to pay out of pocket again for a ticket I never used. I sent my passport details 72 hours ahead of time, but there was no reply. Viator's handling of the situation was incredibly poor.
I had a wonderful experience on the cruise to the Bahamas yesterday. The resort was fantastic, and I had a great time overall.
This was the best trip we've ever had, and it was very affordable. The staff was friendly, and the food was great. We also enjoyed the beautiful island. The boat ride may not have been very long, but it was just enough time to make new friends on board.
The experience was valuable for the cost, but I encountered an issue with the final email containing a crucial number needed for boarding the ship. It took a long time to resolve, and I managed to board just 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.
There is no need to get to the terminal at 6am for a 9am departure; that's merely a suggestion. I really wanted an option for early boarding, as this felt like a huge waste of time.
This excursion was fantastic. My only concerns on the ferry were having difficulty hearing the announcements and not being able to charge my phone. I recommend travelers bring a sweater due to the cold air conditioning.
Avoid this place at all costs. It was complete chaos. I visited with my parents, and the claim of wheelchair accessibility was misleading. Access to the hotel pool was not provided as promised. There was nothing to do except be bored for hours; no restaurants or shops were open. Additionally, the boat staff were extremely unfriendly.
