Excursions with Mada Vtc come highly recommended. Jo, the guide, is very knowledgeable about his island and takes you to stunning locations. With a warm welcome cocktail, a comfortable vehicle, and Jo's attentive nature, the experience is truly enjoyable. You will feel at ease knowing that Jo is so kind and considerate. Don't hesitate to go; you won't regret it.
The driver and guide were wonderful. I highly recommend this experience. He was funny, kind, and took us to beautiful hidden spots, accommodating wherever we wanted to go. Don't hesitate; you'll receive a warm welcome.
We arranged the Private Excursion EN Martinique from North to South, expecting a day filled with history, culture, and snorkeling. Instead, we found ourselves part of an unintended romantic subplot. Before we started, my husband called to confirm our meeting point. The man who answered, who we thought was just our driver, stated, "I’m just the driver — I don’t speak English." Later, we discovered he was actually the tour organizer. We expressed our interest in history and storytelling, hoping for a shipwreck snorkel and interpretive sites. Instead, we got stops at Dominant Rock and the 15 Slave Statues, which was essentially the whole tour. Our experience felt like a scenic Uber ride rather than an excursion. While driving through beautiful mountains and towns, we received no historical context or information—just location names. Then, the beach stop was supposed to last twenty minutes, but we waited forty. When we asked for local cuisine, the translator took time to find a plan that didn’t exist, leading us to a seafood restaurant instead. Although the translator did translate the menu, by the time we finished eating, the driver and translator still hadn’t received their orders. They then suggested we explore shops where nobody could communicate with us, seeming more focused on their own lunch. On the way back, they conversed in French for 45 minutes while we passed intriguing sites. When I pointed out a stunning building, our translator didn’t know what it was, and the driver only whispered the answer to us. By that point, we felt emotionally drained. Additionally, the driving style was chaotic and uncomfortable. Overall, the island is beautiful, but the tour was disappointing. The chemistry between the guide and driver was notable, but we came for a historical adventure and felt we missed out. I can only give it two stars—one for the statues and one for the undeniable chemistry.
