Be cautious and avoid booking with this company. After paying $240 for a paddle board tour, Kyle did not show up. We went to their office, located in an apartment building, and have since lodged complaints with our credit card, Marriott Activities, and others. This experience nearly ruined our vacation.

I am requesting a refund. They instructed me to arrive at 9am instead of 10:30, thinking I was scheduled for surfing lessons rather than a SUP tour. I couldn't take the tour because of their mistake, and Kyle, my guide, was unhelpful in his messages. No other SUP tours were operating at that location from 9 to 12 am. AJ, the owner, was very apologetic but mentioned being understaffed. Fortunately, I found another SUP tour with Charleston SUP Safaris while trying to resolve the issue at the Folly Boat pier, where I was supposed to be. They were accommodating, friendly, provided a great experience, and charged less. I still need my $70 refunded by Charleston Paddleboard Tour or Trip Advisor since they failed to deliver, didn't appear, and I had to pay for a different tour.
Our SUP tour with Stephen was fantastic. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, bringing humor along the way. We encountered dolphins and even a hammerhead shark. Despite facing poor weather and delays from walking from our Airbnb, Stephen remained patient and understanding throughout. I highly recommend Charleston Paddle Board Co and especially Stephen for this experience. Five stars!
