This full-day tour begins in La Fortuna and takes you through the scenic Tenorio Volcano National Park, ending at the captivating Rio Celeste waterfall. You'll spend the morning tubing down the iconic blue river for around one and a half hours, with opportunities to swim and enjoy fresh regional fruits along the way.
A local expert guide will accompany you throughout the journey, including a stop at the 400-year-old Tree of Peace. After tubing, a traditional lunch awaits before the return trip, which offers ample chances to spot wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, and exotic birds. On the way back, there's a visit to a souvenir market before returning to your accommodation.

Michi served as our tour guide, while José handled the driving, both arriving at our hotel promptly. Michi offered excellent explanations, options, and addressed our inquiries, even taking photos at the waterfall. Daniel, our tubing guide, was fantastic, capturing awesome videos and pictures while assisting us when we got stuck. We enjoyed a shorter hike, visited the waterfall, and explored the nature reserve, where our knowledgeable guide identified various animals and snapped great photos. Lunch was tasty, and we also visited a souvenir shop to sample chocolate and coffee, picking up some reasonably priced souvenirs.
My day in Costa Rica was incredible. We encountered stunning wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Carlos was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable, while Layma excelled at explaining what we observed and assisting with excellent photo opportunities. I strongly recommend this company.
Our time in Costa Rica was truly unforgettable. We began with water tubing guided by Jefferson, who was not only friendly but also shared valuable information, even spotting a sloth for us. Water tubing was definitely the day’s main highlight. Following that, we had Carlos as our guide, who was kind and took us to enjoy casados, a traditional Costa Rican meal. He also led us to the Rio Celeste Waterfall, where he patiently shared insights and pointed out some wildlife. Finally, Leima guided us on the sloth tour, where he showcased fascinating creatures like sloths, snakes, and frogs. He was knowledgeable and friendly as well. Overall, they were fantastic guides, and I would happily revisit this experience.
The experience was wonderful! Traveling from Tamarindo, it was refreshing to explore the rainforest and witness the varied climate and scenery. Tubing down the river was the highlight of the tour. The lunch exceeded our expectations. However, the return trip to Tamarindo is lengthy. Our guide, Yorleny, was fantastic, and Gustavo was an excellent driver.
Carlos and Layma were excellent guides. The tubing experience was incredibly enjoyable, and we spent the whole time laughing. It felt like bumper cars on the river, and the guides did a great job ensuring our safety.
Allan, our guide, was excellent and very informed. He was also very accommodating and assisted with some additional activities. The lunch was delicious, and the rafting experience exceeded my expectations; I had thought it would be more like a lazy river, but we encountered some small rapids which were enjoyable. The hike to the waterfall and the visit to the sloth sanctuary were great additions too.
Allan Guia, our guide, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable, going above and beyond to meet our additional requests. Tubing was fun and offered small rapids instead of just a lazy river. The waterfall hike was definitely worthwhile, and visiting the Sloth Sanctuary was a nice way to conclude our day. I highly recommend this experience!
This tour was fantastic. Tubing was our favorite aspect, but the entire day was enjoyable. Our guide, Carlos, provided excellent guidance throughout. We spotted monkeys, sloths, and numerous birds on the river, and we had the chance to see them all again at the nature reserve too.
Michelle, our tour guide, and Jose, our driver, were exceptional and very accommodating. We enjoyed all the activities—they were truly wonderful. This has been my favorite excursion to date.
