This half-day tour starts with a 1.5-hour transfer from Tamarindo, Flamingo, or Papagayo, passing through local villages and plantations before arriving at Bolsón. On the Tempisque River, you'll enjoy a 2-hour boat safari, where sightings of howler, spider, and capuchin monkeys, American crocodiles, and various migratory birds are likely.
After the boat safari, you'll be treated to a traditional Costa Rican lunch. You will also see a demonstration of pottery-making by the Chorotega indigenous people, showcasing traditional techniques still practiced today. Remember to have your camera ready for the wildlife, and dress comfortably for a day out.

Juan Carlos provided an exceptional experience during our bus and boat tour to Palo Verde in July 2024. His expertise in Costa Rica's flora and fauna was remarkable.
