Our guide was amazing, so friendly, passionate about his job, and great at sharing that enthusiasm. The activities are well-supervised and perfect for beginners, allowing us to enjoy everything to the fullest.
I chose to take this excursion alone while my family rested, and I had an incredible experience. My group was very friendly, and the guides at the waterfall were vibrant and ensured everyone was included. The transport between locations and meals was perfectly organized. The waterfalls were refreshing, and while I had concerns about the climbing, it turned out to be manageable. Just be sure to wear water shoes and take your time on each step, as some parts can be slippery. You can pause at different spots, and the team provides assistance. We were fortunate to find Blue Hole almost empty, allowing us to enjoy the area privately. The food was also satisfactory. I highly recommend this to everyone.
The overall experience was a mix of positives and negatives and did not live up to expectations, despite many favorable reviews. I typically don’t write critiques like this. The timely pickup was appreciated, and the driver was friendly. He indicated he would serve as a tour guide, but during the lengthy drive, he offered very little information. More troubling was his behavior while driving; he spent considerable time on his phone, having a loud personal conversation, and played music at a high volume. At one moment, he picked up a woman introduced as the tour assistant, but she merely sat eating snacks. With the vehicle full and road conditions challenging, the driver’s inattention felt unsafe and unprofessional. The waterfall itself was nice, and there were several staff members available to help visitors. However, it was uncomfortable that multiple people stressed they do not earn wages and directly solicited tips. The photographer didn’t even ask for permission before taking pictures and seemed disappointed when I requested him to stop. Tipping should feel like a personal choice rather than something that tourists are pressured into. It felt like a setup for tourists to be overcharged. In conclusion, while certain aspects of the trip were enjoyable, overall, the experience was marred by safety issues, lack of engagement, and persistent requests for tips.
The $15 refunds apply if there is too much water at the Blue Hole, which only covers part of the trip cost. It's best to hope that they don’t cancel half of your $140 activities per person.
Everything was fantastic and very informative, from our guide to both excursions. We strongly recommend it.
I had a fantastic day on this tour, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone seeking an adrenaline boost. Hiking Dunn’s River Falls was particularly memorable; the panoramic views during the ascent are truly stunning. Our guides and photographers were excellent, engaging with everyone and ensuring we all had a wonderful time while capturing unforgettable moments. The Blue Hole added even more excitement, with thrilling cliff jumps! Just to note, this tour does involve physical activity. As a group, you'll climb the falls, which isn’t overly challenging, but you should be prepared to be active. Additionally, if heights aren’t your thing, some of the jumps at Blue Hole might be a stretch for you. A few useful tips: • Water shoes are essential. • Stow any items you want to keep dry in the shuttle, as you'll definitely get wet. • Make sure to take lots of photos.
Finn’s River Falls was wonderful; that aspect of the trip was fantastic. However, I was a bit let down by the Blue Hole since we could only jump in once. I had anticipated more activities there and at Secret Falls as well. Both locations were impressive, but I expected additional experiences.
Hiking up Dunn’s River Falls is challenging, but it’s definitely worth it! The beauty of the Secret Falls and Blue Hole is stunning. I highly recommend this experience.
The initial segment of the tour was fantastic. Unfortunately, the second part, which included the Blue Hole and Secret Falls, was called off because of poor weather. I found it unreasonable that we only received a 10% refund; a refund of at least 20 to 30% would have been more appropriate.
I had a fantastic day; it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was enjoyable, though be prepared for a considerable amount of walking.
