We did not see the northern lights, and the local guide was quite unfriendly. The terms and conditions promised a refund if the lights were not visible due to weather, but they denied us our money. Even after reaching out to customer service and the location, we received no help. It was a terrible experience.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Joy for fulfilling a senior citizen's dream! The expansive campground under the open sky allows you to capture the dancing Auroras with your cameras. When it gets chilly, you can retreat to a spacious room filled with large windows and enjoy refreshments while waiting for more sightings. Joy diligently watches for Auroras and shares the perfect moments for everyone to step outside. Her photography skills are impressive! My sister and I are grateful for the pick-up and drop-off at Pike’s Hotel. This was truly a memorable experience.
Staying in the warm and comfortable cabin was a fantastic experience, complete with plenty of refreshments while we awaited the Aurora. Our host, David, was friendly and helpful; he showed us how to use our phones to capture the stunning Northern lights and explained how to monitor real-time Aurora conditions using the outside camera. We were fortunate to witness the northern lights on a clear night, and David captured beautiful photos of us with the Aurora backdrop, sending them over promptly. At the end, we received an Aurora certificate and postcards as keepsakes. This was truly an unforgettable experience.

We had an incredible experience during our Fairbanks trip to see the northern lights. It was worth every penny. The auroras were nearly constant once we reached the cabin. David was an excellent host—funny, knowledgeable, and he picked us up from the hotel. He took stunning professional photos that he promptly shared with us afterward. The lights were breathtaking, truly a beautiful sight. The van was cozy and warm, and the cabin had everything we needed: coffee, snacks, noodles, restrooms, comfortable sofas, tables, and chairs. David even prepared hot dogs for us. You can come and go freely to watch the lights. Seeing the auroras in person surpasses anything you might have seen or heard. I highly recommend booking this experience, especially with David. Five stars.
Having booked this activity for the second time, I found it easy to reach the location. Snacks and drinks were available, and the stunning auroras were a highlight. This experience is suitable for all and doesn't involve any hiking. I highly recommend it.
