Our first dog sledding adventure was unforgettable. The dogs were adorable, well-mannered, and clearly well cared for. The guides were knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about the dogs and the sport. Everything was organized perfectly; we were picked up from our hotel on time, making the experience smooth from beginning to end. A photographer was present to capture moments at the start, during a scenic stop, and at the conclusion, which added a wonderful element. We received some photos right after the tour, while the rest were conveniently shared via Dropbox on the same day. In summary, it was a fantastic and streamlined experience with a highly professional team, and I would highly recommend it.
The team at Alaska Journey Tours excelled in communicating logistics and transportation details. The dogs were thrilled to race as soon as their harnesses were on. After the trip, we had plenty of time to interact with them. It was evident that the dogs are well-cared for, as our musher proudly shared stories about their births and the generations in the team. My favorite was the incredibly friendly Cloud Dancer. The photos taken were excellent and provided promptly. I would gladly choose this tour again without hesitation.
The dog sledding adventure was amazing. After being picked up from our hotel, we had some time to interact with the dogs before they pulled our sled along the course. The guides paused for photos, and afterward, we enjoyed more time with the incredible Alaskan Huskies. I strongly suggest this activity if you find yourself in Fairbanks during winter.

We had an excellent experience. The driver was prompt, and it was a brief journey to the dog area. My son enjoyed petting the dogs before we began our ride. The ride itself was thrilling, and the feeling of freedom in the fresh air was incredible. Thank you for the fantastic experience.
The ride was energetic and the dogs were joyful, clearly enjoying the attention they received. I want to extend a huge thank you to Cole! However, I did experience some issues with the sled sliding downwards.
The dog sledding experience was wonderful, featuring beautiful photo opportunities. The ride with the mushers was enjoyable, and we had time to interact with the dogs and take pictures. While the price is slightly higher than other dog sledding options, the inclusion of pickup, drop-off, and complimentary photographs makes it worth it. Everything was excellent, though I lowered my rating slightly because the pickup staff seemed a bit hurried.
