Our experience in Fairbanks was fantastic, largely due to Gina, who guided us through the sights and shared fascinating historical details. She was patient, kind, and tailored parts of the tour to our interests. I strongly recommend this tour.
Gina was our guide, and she truly stood out. Her knowledge was impressive, and her personality made the experience enjoyable. She provided insights not only about the sights but also about the surrounding area and recommended fantastic places to eat and visit. She deserves a perfect 5-star rating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Chena Hot Springs, which exceeded our expectations. The service from our guide Gavin was excellent, and we appreciated the Ice Museum, the lovely lunch, and the soothing hot springs. An added highlight was seeing the huskies and going dog mushing. Gavin was courteous, friendly, and engaging throughout. It was a fantastic time.
This was an outstanding experience. Jody was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to converse with. It was a perfect tour to wrap up our trip to Alaska.
Kathy and Rachael were truly fantastic; they were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the tour. I would highly recommend them as guides. It's unfortunate that they won't be taking us to the Arctic Circle. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
This experience was fantastic, from the welcoming staff to the hot springs themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the hot springs and regret not planning to go again. The hot tub and pool were great for relaxing afterwards. My only suggestion would be to improve the dressing rooms, as it was challenging to change due to limited space and the large number of visitors.
We had booked a Chena Hot Springs tour with Alaska Wildlife Guide LLC for New Year’s Eve, but they canceled the afternoon prior due to weather. While I realize cancellations can occur, we felt misled since we quickly found our own transportation and had no trouble getting there or back. The hot springs, restaurant, Ice Museum, and dog sledding were all available and contributed to a wonderful New Year’s Eve. I later saw that the cancellations might occur if there aren't enough participants. If that was the true reason, I would have appreciated better transparency. Canceling the day before, especially on a holiday, nearly left us without plans. On a positive note, arranging our own transportation saved us money, and we still enjoyed an excellent time at Chena Hot Springs.
The Ice Museum didn't impress me too much, but the hot springs were a highlight that shouldn't be missed. Our guide Colton was fantastic—he was knowledgeable and accommodating, always striving to enhance the experience for the group. We also got to witness the stunning Northern Lights.
It was a fantastic experience visiting the giant Hot Springs, with temperatures reaching 109° in certain spots. I highly recommend it; it's roughly a 90-minute drive from North Pole, Alaska. We even spotted wild moose during our trip.
The transition from cold to hot was remarkable. The experience was fantastic, and the ice museum is truly unique. Just be ready for a warm shift when you enter the springs.
