Twelve hours by bus — travel the scenic Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle, with landscape changes and an official certificate as a highlight.
This day tour from Fairbanks takes approximately twelve hours and travels along the Dalton Highway, a remote and scenic route through Alaska’s wilderness. Throughout the journey, an expert guide shares insights on the region's history, nature, and culture. Expect to see dramatic landscape shifts from boreal forests to Arctic tundra, with opportunities to photograph the Yukon River and views of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.
At the Arctic Circle marker, you'll enjoy a photo opportunity and receive an official Arctic Circle Certificate to commemorate your trip. In winter months, look out for the chance to see the Aurora Borealis on the return journey — a unique end to your Arctic exploration.

The experience was truly remarkable. I gained fascinating insights and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Nick was excellent and he paused several times for us to enjoy and photograph the aurora lights. I would definitely do this again.
The scenery was truly beautiful, especially the snow-covered trees that appeared almost surreal, with about three feet of snow precariously resting on the pine branches. There was plenty of fascinating wildlife, making the experience even more intriguing. Our host was well-informed, and the van provided a comfortable ride. I appreciated that the company used plastic inserts in the windows to prevent frost buildup.
It was an excellent experience. Our driver and guide, Nick, demonstrated great patience and had extensive knowledge about the area. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone.
The drive is lengthy, but it takes you through stunning landscapes. The van was spacious and comfortable, and our driver and guide, Nick, was excellent. He genuinely cared that we had the opportunity to see everything we wanted, never hesitated to answer questions, and was incredibly friendly.
Nick, our driver, was outstanding and addressed all our many questions. He was particularly kind and patient with our curious 8-year-old. After spending 12 hours in a van, a great driver makes a significant difference. The trip included stunning Alaskan scenery, sightings of ptarmigans, feeding grey jays at the circle, walking on the frozen Yukon River, and even catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights on the return journey. Although the van wasn’t very spacious and we ended up with sore legs, the experience was definitely worthwhile. Be prepared with plenty of warm layers as you transition from the warm van to the -20 degree weather with wind. Thank you, Nick, for a truly memorable adventure. -The Reno Family of 5.
The schedule is not favorable for customers. If we start one or two hours later, we could have seen the Northern Lights on the return trip. I would suggest other tour companies we encountered that began their tours at 11 or 12 PM to friends.
For those who appreciate nature and stunning Alaskan scenery, as well as the excitement of viewing the Alaska pipeline and the highlight of the Arctic Circle, this trip is fantastic. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Choose this experience—you won't regret it.
Nick was incredible during the entire tour. We managed to take fantastic pictures. The highlight was receiving the Arctic Circle certificate. I highly recommend this experience, giving it a perfect 10 out of 10.
This tour was outstanding, featuring a wonderful guide. The scenic journey included several stops, and we had the chance to see the Alaska pipeline. Our driver and guide, Cody, was friendly, personable, and accommodating. Visiting the Arctic Circle was truly incredible. We spotted two moose and many ptarmigans. This experience was definitely worth it.
A journey through Alaska, experiencing different biosystems during the transition from winter to early spring, was truly exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity.
