Shannon was enjoyable to be around, sweet, and had a lot of knowledge to share. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Jessica was an outstanding driver, brimming with incredible knowledge. The trip was both fascinating and informative.
Jessica served as an amazing guide, providing us with a wealth of information about Alaska. Although our day was quite lengthy, it was absolutely worthwhile to see the Arctic Circle and the beautiful scenery surrounding it.
Our driver and guide was engaging and provided a lot of information. We visited all the key stops and enjoyed the company of a great group. There was ample time for sightseeing, meals, and shopping for souvenirs.
This trip was incredible. We gained insights into the Aleyska pipeline and traveled many miles along the well-known Dalton Highway, which looked just like it does on television. At one stop, we had lunch with firefighters from various countries. Our visit in late July was quite chilly at just 34 degrees. I truly enjoyed this excursion and the rest of our group. I would absolutely do it again.
I participated in this tour on February 2. We were taken in a cramped 8-person minivan for what was described as a 14-hour trip. The vehicle felt small with limited legroom, even in the front, and there was insufficient space for winter gear. During the entire duration, we only stopped once for an indoor restroom. Most stops were at portable toilets that were quite basic, lacking running water and toilet paper, which was challenging in very cold weather (around -17°C). After about 5–6 hours, we reached the Arctic Circle sign, where there wasn't much available besides the sign itself. We had around 10 minutes for photos before we began the lengthy return journey. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the Northern Lights due to heavy clouds, which is largely a matter of luck. I do commend the guide for making multiple efforts to find a better viewing spot. For a 14-hour tour, I found the size and comfort of the vehicle to be significant drawbacks, along with the limited restroom facilities. Additionally, only two 500 ml bottles of water were provided, which I thought was insufficient. If you're thinking about this tour, I recommend: - Bringing your own water. - Being ready for a small, crowded vehicle for a long duration. - Considering whether it's suitable for those with knee or back issues due to the limited legroom and seating space. Overall, if you're okay with a 14-hour journey focused mainly on quick stops for a couple of signs and photos, it might suit you. However, I personally didn’t find it worth the time.
We had a fantastic time on our trip. Another couple joined us, making it a great adventure for everyone involved. We kept encountering a couple from Colorado who faced a series of misfortunes driving the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle, including a broken window and a flat tire. We were always expecting to see them on the side of the road with another issue. Our driver was helpful in assisting them whenever possible. The scenery was stunning, and our guide was very knowledgeable, sharing plenty of insights along the way. Reaching the Arctic Circle Marker was a highlight, and we took numerous pictures. Although the drive is lengthy, we appreciated a stop for snacks, shopping, and a bathroom break at a small store.
Our journey to the Arctic Circle with our guide Jamie was fantastic. He was engaging with the group, attentive to everyone's needs, informative, and an excellent driver. My mother enjoyed him so much that she wanted a picture with him. This experience is definitely checked off my bucket list. I highly recommend it.
I want to share my experience of the tour my wife and I enjoyed to the Arctic Circle with Shannon and her co-pilot Dillion. Shannon was exceptional, addressing all our questions, making stops to highlight interesting sights, and helping us capture moments together. The journey was so enjoyable that it felt far too brief. We even spotted a bear. I wholeheartedly recommend this adventure to everyone. Take the plunge and book this trip; it’s an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
