I had an excellent day fishing. The hotel pickup and drop-off were seamless, and I only needed to bring some snacks while everything else was provided. The guide was very knowledgeable, and I caught two grayling. I would highly recommend this experience.
Jacob arrived at our hotel promptly, bringing all the necessary equipment for the day. The scenic drive featured a unique sight by the roadside. Upon reaching our fishing location, he was extremely supportive and patient, even teaching our 13-year-old how to fly fish. It was a memorable day that we will always cherish.
We had a fantastic day with Jake Barrette, who guided us to a stunning location in Alaska. Although our fishing results weren’t plentiful, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If we return to the area, we would definitely look for him again.
The fishing spot was stunning, and Jake ensured that everyone had the chance to reel in a catch. Although the weather was cool, the equipment functioned perfectly, and the guide demonstrated a high level of expertise in the area. It was a fantastic experience.
Our hotel pickup brought us to a fishing spot on a North Branch of the Chino River, chosen by our guide. He aimed to find an area where we could catch fish. My wife managed to catch one, and we practiced catch and release, as it was too late in the season for the larger salmon. We tried both cast and fly fishing but didn't get many bites. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, sharing plenty of insights about the local region.
The area was stunning, and our guide was both knowledgeable and patient, assisting me whenever my line got caught in rocks or trees. Overall, it was an excellent day.
The views were stunning. Although the fish weren't biting, I appreciated exploring the area and chatting with the local guide. I would definitely do this again.
I had a great experience. The pick-up was punctual, and the guide was knowledgeable and easy to understand. Reaching the fishing spot was straightforward.
This was an incredible experience, 5 out of 5 stars! My family and I went on this trip in Fairbanks, and it was a hit for all of us. None of us had much experience, but that didn't matter. Our guide, Jake, went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a memorable time and accommodated our needs. We even caught a fish, which he prepared for us to take home and cook.
Make sure to check what fish are in the stream, as it changes with the season. I went on the last day of the season and only caught whitefish, which are tricky to reel in. The guide was excellent, and I had a lot of fun on the trip.
