4If you love living green, then Ella is obviously a place to visit. Ella Rock is one of the place which proves it. Trekkers would love the place. It’s bit tiring to do the hiking. But it is definitely worth it. Once you got to the summit you will realize why we said so. The panoramic views it provides with mist and cloud covering the area, especially in the early mornings and the late evenings are something you should witness and that would suffice enough to say that you visited Ella. Total time for climbing up and down is 4 hours. Yes, sounds like a long journey. But the way up there is with full of diversity. If you are starting form Ella train station, you would enjoy the rail walk, and soon as you started climbing up, you will be passing a waterfall, the rubber tree forest and tea plantations. On a rainy day, it can be slippery, so better be cautious with what you wear for the journey. Wear something suitable for a hiking and towards the end of the hike,.still manageable.

Pickup from your hotel 9 Arches Bridge Start with a visit to the iconic 9 Arches Bridge, a stunning colonial-era structure surrounded by lush greenery. 6After pick-up from your hotel in Ella, head for Udawalawe Or Yala National Park, where you'll switch to an open concept safari jeep in order to have the best views. An early Morning or Afternoon start ensures you'll see the animals during one of their most active times of day Morning or Evening. See Leopards, herds of elephants for sure and have fun watching for crocodiles, monkeys, water buffaloes, various endemic birds species and much more. Along the way, you'll learn about and observe the natural habitats of the local wildlife while you snap some amazing photos. In the Morning or Afternoon, 3-hour safari adventure, switch back to the comfortable, air-conditioned car for the ride on to Tangalle/Hiriketiya/Matara/Mirissa/Weligama/Unawatuna/Galle where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
7Leave the cool highlands of Ella and head toward the warm plains of Udawalawe, where open skies, dry forests, and glimmering lakes shape one of Sri Lanka’s most rewarding wildlife experiences. 8You will be starting your tour at 8:30 am(morning time) am or 01.30 pm(evening time) at the Ella Gap Hotel Car Park (Standard meeting point). There will be bicycles, helmets, and refreshments provided for the tour. Your cycling guide and backup vehicle will accompany you. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Ella as you ride your 20km route.
