Reviews
Our visit to Vok baths was fantastic. The changing rooms were warm and spotless, and the staff were welcoming. The pools were lovely, warm, and beautifully situated by the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the steam room and the cold mist tunnel. The standout experience was the cold plunge directly into the lake, which was unique and invigorating. We highly recommend making this stop while driving the ring road; it was a perfect and relaxing break before continuing our journey.
Visiting Vok baths has been on my bucket list for quite some time, and I’m thrilled we finally made it. Out of all the baths we've experienced in Iceland, this one was our favorite. The building is sleek and impeccably clean, and the staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. We visited on a quiet Sunday in early February and enjoyed the breathtaking baths with the lake view. It was delightful to dip into the lake, and I would love to return in summer to swim. Overall, it was an incredible experience.
I absolutely enjoyed that this experience was set on a lake, and the cold plunge was actually the lake itself. It was so spacious and stunning. Despite the presence of others, I still felt I had plenty of room to myself.
An ideal way to conclude the day, enjoying the natural bathing lake and various warm pools with drinks from the pool bar. The ambient lighting at dusk adds to the charm. There are complimentary swimming wings for children.
After a long drive, visiting the baths was the ideal way to relax. The facility features three pools with varying temperatures, and you can access the lake for a cold plunge directly from one of the pools. There's also a steam room, and admission includes a complimentary tea. The changing rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and well-stocked with toiletries.
A laid-back and soothing atmosphere. The location is breathtaking, and there's a delightful bar where you can enjoy drinks while unwinding by one of the four pools.
We visited the Vok baths in the evening under a full moon, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Don't miss out on the cold plunge; even if you're unsure, you should definitely give it a try.
This was a really enjoyable experience, even at night! After spending a full day hiking in the nearby area, it was a wonderful way to conclude the day.
This is a wonderfully calming experience featuring several outdoor pools, a swim-up bar, and a steam room. The views over the river and surrounding landscapes are stunning. I highly suggest adding this to your itinerary.
I had an amazing time at Vök Baths surrounded by beautiful winter scenery. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and this hidden gem is just a few minutes from Egilsstaðir. It’s definitely worth spending a few hours there, reasonably priced, and the food was enjoyable as well.
