We arranged our safari online before our 12-day trip. Given our limited time, we opted for a 1-day tour, wanting to enjoy relaxing at our hotel and the beach in Diani Beach. We were initially concerned that the one-day experience would limit our chances to see numerous animals. Martha was very helpful, answering all our inquiries regarding the safari booking, payments, and detailed schedule with our guide Henry, making the entire process straightforward and friendly via email. Payment through Pesapal was efficient. On March 13th, Henry picked us up promptly at 4 a.m. His warm and friendly demeanor reassured us that we were in good hands. After about two hours on the road, we took a brief coffee and restroom break before heading to Tsavo East, which was a quick 30-minute drive away. Entering the park, it didn't take long before we spotted a family of elephants at a watering hole. Our excitement grew as we also encountered giraffes, zebras, antelopes, wildebeests, ostriches, and various birds. The highlight was seeing two lionesses with their cubs under a bush, shielding themselves from the sun. We had close views of nearly all the animals, with Henry providing binoculars for those further away. Everything was excellently organized, and we only needed suitable clothing, as drinking water was supplied. Henry shared fascinating insights about the animals and their habits, leaving no question unanswered. When hunger struck, we headed to a lodge for a plentiful and delicious lunch buffet, which was a nice break. After another short game drive, Henry safely returned us to our hotel. This was truly an unforgettable day at the safari, and we are grateful to Henry for his guidance and to Martha for her assistance.
The service was outstanding, with excellent communication throughout. They collected us from the port and the safari was fantastic. Our driver, Milton, was superb. We spotted all the animals we hoped to see: elephants, giraffes, antelopes, a lion, monkeys, and zebras. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
We visited Kenya for a relaxing holiday at Diani Beach and opted for a one-day safari to experience wildlife. This was the best choice we made. The booking and payment processes were straightforward, and we received clear instructions, including the driver's contact number for emergencies. We departed early at 4 AM and were the first to arrive at Tsavo East. We saw everything we hoped to and had plenty of time for photos, thanks to our friendly driver, Henry, who answered all our questions. The lunch buffet at the lodge was impressive, offering a wide variety of options. After lunch, we enjoyed another game drive and left the park on schedule, returning to our hotel around 6:30 PM. I highly recommend this safari for anyone wanting to experience the wildlife of Kenya.
After just three days, we caught safari fever and decided to book another day trip with Natural World Kenya Safari. We would gladly choose them again. It was a lovely experience with many animals! Our guide was friendly and highly experienced, making us feel at ease.
We had an incredible safari experience, spotting an impressive variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and water buffalo. Our guide, Saidi, was very attentive and even located the lions for us. He provided extensive information about the animals and allowed us ample time for photographs. Enjoying lunch with a view of the free-ranging elephants was also a highlight. We highly recommend this tour.
From beginning to end, our experience with Natural World Safaris was outstanding. Martha from the Diani office was friendly and knowledgeable, and the trip was amazing. Adam, our driver guide, did a superb job. I would certainly book with them again if we come back for a longer safari in Kenya. Having led many safaris myself for over ten years, I can confidently say they are truly experts, and I highly recommend them.
We had a wonderful day with Abdu, our knowledgeable driver and guide. He provided great insights about the wildlife we encountered. The food at Ashnil was excellent. I wish we could have extended our visit.
We had an incredible experience filled with fantastic insights into African wildlife. Our guide provided us with numerous explanations and background details. Despite the long driving time, we returned to the hotel enriched with memories and photos.
The communication prior to our safari was efficient and straightforward. We were picked up on time from our hotel in Diani Beach and embarked on a three-hour journey to Tsavo East. Our driver/guide utilized a robust 4WD vehicle and prioritized safety. While animal sightings can’t be guaranteed, we were fortunate to see quite a few during our 3-4 hours in Tsavo East. The guide actively sought opportunities to get closer to the wildlife and was accommodating when we wanted extra time for photographs. Lunch was included, but drinks weren’t, so it’s advisable to bring some cash. It was a lengthy day, and I appreciated the guide's attentiveness and positive attitude throughout. There are a couple of areas for improvement. It would have been nice to have a small breakfast box provided since we left at 5 a.m. and didn’t have time to eat. We did stop at a store for snacks right before Tsavo East, but having sandwiches and water during the drive would have been more convenient. Additionally, there was a brief stop before the national park gates where the driver/guide allowed someone into our vehicle under the pretext of needing to adjust the roof; this individual then attempted to sell us safari hats and a guidebook. I found it frustrating to be trapped in a car with someone trying to sell me something I had no interest in.
We were picked up promptly around 4:30 AM from Diani Beach, and our guide was both punctual and very amiable. The comfortable 4WD Jeep had a pop-up roof that offered great visibility. Once in Tsavo East, we spotted a Red Elephant, a Lion's Pride, Giraffes, Buffalo, and even a Cheetah one after the other. Breakfast was enjoyable, with stunning views to match. After lunch, we went on another game drive. On the return trip to Diani, we caught a beautiful sunset around 6:30 PM. The long drive of approximately 400 km felt effortless thanks to our guide's extensive knowledge and sharp animal spotting skills. This incredible experience is so close to the beach—highly recommended! For anyone eager to see the Lions of Tsavo, this day trip is ideal.
