This experience was genuinely remarkable. Omar and his family are wonderful individuals, and getting to know them was incredibly special. During my 12 days traveling across various parts of Kenya, his mom's cooking was the highlight and the best I encountered. This excursion was truly fantastic. The communication was excellent, and we were conveniently picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Tiwi. The team was very friendly and knowledgeable. We encountered numerous dolphins, and the snorkeling experience was fantastic; our guide highlighted octopuses, squids, and more. Lunch, prepared by Omar’s mother, was delicious and featured local dishes. The tour of the slave caves was particularly enlightening, shedding light on a dark chapter in Kenya's past. Our visit to the island was lovely, with local children eager to engage with us as they pursue education and classroom construction. A noteworthy suggestion is that they would greatly welcome gently used school books to aid in teaching English to the children, which we wish we had known to bring along.
Our experience was truly memorable, thanks to a genuine local agency that prioritized its clients. From start to finish, everything was flawless. We enjoyed a private boat with two excellent guides for a 1.5-hour snorkeling adventure where we saw octopuses, squids, various fish, and sea turtles. We also swam to a stunning sandbar where a lovely fruit platter awaited us. The exploration of Wasini Island and the caves was fascinating, and we capped it all off with a fantastic Swahili meal. I highly recommend booking this, even if you're new to snorkeling.

I had an incredible day with Omar and another solo traveler. We saw dolphins and he captured an amazing underwater video for us, even filming a sea turtle. Omar is friendly, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable, promptly answering all our tough questions. His mom prepared lunch for us, which was among the best I've eaten in Kenya so far.

I am incredibly grateful for the remarkable day my friends and I experienced at the Marine National Park. We spent almost the entire day there, and the cost was very affordable, especially for students like us. I would like to extend a special thanks to Omar, who not only made us laugh but also taught us a lot during our time on his boat. The atmosphere was lively, especially when everyone started singing songs from their respective languages. There were not too many participants, which made it easy to connect with each other throughout the trip. The excitement peaked when we first spotted dolphins, such beautiful creatures swimming toward us; it was my first time seeing them, and it felt magical. I am truly thankful to everyone involved and hope to return someday. I highly recommend this experience to anyone; you will enjoy wonderful conversations and an unforgettable time.
