Two-hour boat trip with an experienced captain — view Diani's marine life and watch fish attracted to food below the glass bottom, plus a 45-minute sand bank stop.
This two-hour boat ride at Diani Beach offers a unique opportunity to see marine life through a glass-bottomed boat. Guided by an experienced captain, you'll learn about local fishing practices while travelling through Diani’s warm waters. The highlight comes when the captain feeds the fish from the boat, creating an underwater spectacle as various species are attracted to the surface.
After the show, the boat docks at a nearby sand bank for a relaxing 45 minutes where you can unwind by sunbathing or enjoying the scenery. The boat features an upper deck for stunning views and photo opportunities. Remember, this experience suits those looking for a combination of culture and nature, but be mindful of sun protection during your time on the sand.

The Kaaribu experience was fantastic, with everything well-organized from the airport pickup to the destination and back. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely choose Kaaribu again.
I was picked up promptly from my hotel and taken to the beach to board the boat. We made two stops to collect other passengers before heading into deeper waters. The guides were knowledgeable and pointed out various fascinating creatures like sea cucumbers and sea spiders. For those interested, there was an opportunity to swim and admire the abundant fish. We also spent some time on an "island" that exists only depending on the tides. My guide ensured that I returned safely to my hotel. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.
The snorkeling experience was decent, but the crew treated us like sardines in a can and didn't show much interest in explaining our destination or the itinerary.
It was exactly as described. There was no unnecessary embellishment. The captain and navigator were knowledgeable and eager to share information. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting.
We enjoyed the glass boat experience in Diani, where the team was delightful and Robinson Island's clear waters were beautiful. We appreciated seeing the diverse marine life; however, we believe the experience could be more eco-friendly. Feeding fish with bread for attraction is detrimental, as is touching them for entertainment. Additionally, the shallow waters caused us to accidentally brush against fragile corals, which are nearly dead in that area. It would be beneficial to prioritize educating guests about coral preservation and practicing responsible behaviors rather than merely catering to tourist desires.
