The experience was absolutely fantastic. Wildlife viewing was exhilarating and captivating. The lodges, Lion Hill and Ngulia, offered lovely accommodations with stunning views. Our guide and driver, Joshua, was exceptional, showcasing remarkable driving skills in tough conditions. He skillfully found and detailed the vast array of wildlife we encountered, including lions, cheetahs, rhinos, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, hyraxes, crocodiles, various gazelles and antelopes, baboons, ostriches, and many birds. We had an incredible journey through Tsavo East and West parks. We truly enjoyed every moment. The kids were thrilled to see a lion. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.
Encountering a young male lion and his companion was the pinnacle of our safari experience. Additionally, the incredible Saltlick lodge and the Satao tented camp, with their large, well-lit waterhole attracting magnificent elephants, delightful gazelles, and exotic birds, made for a memorable stay. The open-top jeep provided ample space, especially enjoyable when it was just for us. Our knowledgeable guide was exceptional, ensuring we were in the right spot at the right time during our game drives, even when a bull elephant bumped us off his path. We plan to return next year with plenty of insights to craft a new adventure in another stunning part of Kenya, and we'll reach out to Mildred at Wildlife Safari Experian's for assistance in organizing it.
