Exercise caution, as this experience feels like a money grab. There was no overnight accommodation or meals provided in lodges, and the safari was cut short.
My first visit to Kenya followed a challenging year, and I had high hopes for this trip. Then Sharrif, or Sheriff as he’s known among friends, arrived, and the experience turned out to be simply excellent. A friend recommended this tour, and everything went smoothly. We enjoyed a private safari as a couple that included Amboseli, Tsavo East, and Taita Hills with Sharrif as our guide and Charles as our driver. They made a fantastic team. Sharrif ensured we felt comfortable throughout the adventure, providing unique advice and experiences that allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. Kenya stole my heart during my first trip this year. The safari experience was unforgettable, largely thanks to Shariff (or Sheriff, as friends call him). He's an incredible guide who is very attentive and speaks excellent Italian, which helped me learn a lot. Sheriff is truly a wonderful person, and I highly recommend him for the safari as well as other amazing activities. Kenya will always hold a special place in my heart, thank you Sheriff.
I visited Kenya for the first time this year and instantly fell in love with the place. It’s truly enchanting. Thanks to Sceriffo (Shariff), I had an unforgettable experience. He is a fantastic person, dependable, very attentive, speaks excellent Italian, and manages safaris and other tours. I connected well with him; he is an outstanding guide who arranges numerous activities. Over three amazing days of safari, he took us to a school, organized a tuk-tuk trip to Garoda beach, and treated us to drinks at a lovely spot. I highly recommend him; you won't be disappointed.
Kenya is a wonderful destination with friendly and happy locals. The views are stunning, perfect for couples taking photos. Overall, it offers fantastic experiences for all visitors.
I highly recommend this trip. Our guide, Francis, was very knowledgeable about the animals and the parks and knew the best times to be at each location. The overnight accommodations were well organized and quite appealing. A further benefit is that the tour is private, allowing for a comfortable experience without being packed into a vehicle.
Overall, the experience was positive. Francis proved to be an excellent driver and an engaging figure, with a deep understanding of the area and a positive attitude. The landscapes in the parks are stunning, and the resorts and food were top-notch. However, the journey from Diani to Tsavo and back was uncomfortable and exhausting due to poor road conditions outside the parks. The vehicle itself was in generally bad shape, though Francis managed well. As someone experienced in offroading and motorcycle tours, I found the animal tracking in the parks lacking; improvements could be made with better technology and more involvement from park staff. Again, the natural parks, resorts, and meals were wonderful, showcasing amazing nature. It would have been nice if Expedition Happy Hour had provided lunch on the return trip. There is clear room for improvement. Lastly, a prior briefing with details about the trip would have been essential.
Our guide Omar from Pollman's was outstanding—knowledgeable and thrilling—constantly locating animals for us. The Night Safari, especially witnessing the lions hunting, was the highlight of the experience.
The tour guide was friendly, kind, and professional. Overall, the experience was fantastic, offering plenty of information and creating lasting memories.
