• Morning pick-up from a hotel in Dharamshala is scheduled, followed by a sightseeing tour that includes visits to Dalai Lama Palace, Namgyal Monastery, Tsuglagkhang Complex, Norbulingka Institute, Dal Lake, and Chamunda Devi Temple. Dalai Lama Palace The Dalai Lama Palace, the winter residence of the Dalai Lama since the 7th century, represents Tibetan Buddhism and its significant role in the traditional governance of Tibet. It is a symbol of peace and liberation. • Namgyal Monastery, one of the larger Tibetan temples, is recognized as the residence of the Dalai Lama. • The Tsuglagkhang Complex, situated just above Dharamshala town in the southwest part of McLeod Ganj, serves as the Official Home of the 14th Dalai Lama. Dharamshala is well-known for its Buddhist temple complex. • The Norbulingka Institute is committed to sustaining Tibetan culture and its historical significance for future generations. After visiting the Norbulingka Institute, lunch (optional) at a good restaurant is offered from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following lunch, the next stop is Dal Lake. • Dal Lake is renowned for its picturesque scenery and as a pilgrimage site. The surrounding area is a natural haven, and Dal Lake is particularly known for its temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Boating on Dal Lake is also available.
