My 4-year-old had a fantastic time. I was surprised by how many activities were available for her, including two rides. The shooter ride was impressive, while the other spinning ride was more suited for younger kids and less thrilling for older ones. However, the shooter ride was the only real source of entertainment for me as an adult; I ended up sitting on a bench for much of our visit, just using my phone. My main issue is that I had to pay the same high entry fee as my child, even though there was little for adults to do. My child would happily return, but I think I’d prefer Peppa Pig World down the hall since I only have to pay $9 to go with her.
We purchased our tickets through TripAdvisor but struggled to download the code, and the staff were unhelpful until I requested a supervisor. The experience felt quite overpriced given the limited activities available. We enjoyed two very brief rides, a short 4D movie, some Lego building areas, and a climbing structure. Our 7-year-old grandson, a big Lego fan, found Mini-land the most enjoyable. We spent around 70 minutes there, which was sufficient. SeaLife was far more engaging. I would recommend skipping LEGOLAND in favor of SeaLife; however, neither is worth a drive of more than an hour due to the high prices for what they offer.
We had an incredible family adventure day. All three rides were enjoyable for everyone, especially the virtual ride. The 4D movie was fantastic, and my favorite was the shooting ride. My kids had a great time with everything.
It was very disappointing to be informed that entry was not allowed without a child 17 or younger. This important detail should be prominently displayed on the website. We specifically came for the LEGO Discovery.
I visited with my young nephew on a summer weekday taking advantage of the teacher discount, noting that a child is required for entry. He liked the Kingdom Quest but struggled with Merlin's Apprentice due to the pedals. The interactive Lego city in Detroit was impressive, with plenty of building options available in various sizes. Meeting a Lego character at the clock tower and seeing the 4D movie were highlights. His favorite part appeared to be the play area. Overall, he had a good time, but I'm thankful for the discount, as I don't believe the experience warranted full price.
We had a fantastic time, and the roller coaster ride was our favorite part! I encourage everyone to try it out; you won't regret it.
This experience was not worth the high price and left us feeling disappointed. Despite trying to enjoy it, we found it quite dull, except for the interesting Lego replica of Detroit landmarks. Ultimately, it wasn’t worth the expense or the trip. Our 6-year-old grandson had a better time playing in the mall's food court.
The Lego Mini City was truly impressive with its intricate details, and the 4D Lego movies were fantastic. We also enjoyed the opportunity to build our own race cars and explore marine life.
Legoland offers very enjoyable activities, and all 30 elementary students aged 6 to 11 had a great time on this field trip. However, outside food is not allowed, and the cafe prices are exorbitant, with a hot dog costing $5. Although our students had packed lunches, we couldn’t re-enter once we left the venue. We will likely return, but we plan to choose an earlier entry time to enhance our visit.
My daughter, 6-year-old grandson, and I had an excellent experience. The “dungeons” princess ride, the remarkable LEGOLAND in Detroit, MI, and the wizard pedal ride were highlights as we enjoyed all the activities my grandson chose.
