This experience with my family and friends was truly enjoyable. We appreciated the convenience of navigating the Harbor without the hassle of traffic and parking. My 6-year-old daughter is now eager for us to get our own bikes. We followed the scenic trail throughout Dana Point, stopping at Wind and Sea for cocktails and appetizers, and used the bikes' storage to keep our food secure on the ride back. Returning uphill was surprisingly effortless, and I didn't need to pedal at all. The bikes were smooth and had enough power to handle the ride after enjoying our meal. My family felt comfortable on the cushioned seats and safe throughout the journey. We’re excited to rent again and look forward to eventually buying our own Pedego bikes. A special thank you to Danny for all his helpful guidance. We had an excellent time.
Renting a tandem electric bike with a throttle is ideal for navigating the hilly terrain of San Clemente. Danny was very accommodating and easy to work with.
It took a little time to adjust to the electric bikes, but once we did, they were incredibly enjoyable to ride. The scenic route to San Clemente and the pier was stunning. I wished we could have ridden further, not realizing how much of the beach path was accessible. We rented the bikes for four hours, which was the ideal duration, especially since it included a lunch stop at the San Clemente Pier. Two hours wouldn’t have sufficed. One suggestion I have is to request mirrors on the bike handles for better visibility of what’s behind. Although there are paths away from the PCH, it would have been helpful to see approaching traffic in the San Clement neighborhood filled with electric cars. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
It was fantastic to escape the heat of Arizona and cruise effortlessly by the ocean while feeling the cool breezes. The experience was wonderful! The bikes were simple to ride and maneuver through the July 4th crowds.
The bike path ride was stunning and we really enjoyed it. However, a map for the bike path would have been helpful, as locating it amid traffic was somewhat challenging. The store operator provided minimal guidance.
