This was an outstanding whale watching experience. We spotted whales seven times, with one even coming close to our boat. Although it felt like pure luck, the captain made sure that everyone had plenty of opportunities to see them. Some guests mentioned they had taken this trip multiple times, insisting it is the best, unlike other companies that simply head out and return without much engagement. I strongly recommend Captain Dave’s whale watching.

We had the incredible opportunity to spot a Fin whale and a large group of Risso Dolphins, which came remarkably close to our boat. It was a stunning experience, and I applaud the Boat Captain for expertly positioning the vessel despite the distractions from faster boats nearby. Our skipper, Alex, and guide, Amanda, were both friendly and highly knowledgeable, happily addressing numerous inquiries. The entire team was enthusiastic and dedicated to the animals. If I return to the area, I would definitely take this trip again.
I had an amazing day on the water. We saw a massive pod of dolphins along with a variety of birds like pelicans, terns, skua, and cormorants. There was even a sunfish! Plus, the fudge brownies were a nice treat. I'm grateful to Gary for his insightful knowledge of nature and excellent navigation. I would definitely do another morning on the Orca.
Captain Marie and her first mate Alan provided an exceptional trip. They were welcoming, attentive, and well-informed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We spotted hundreds of dolphins, along with a couple of minke whales, a fin whale, and a humpback whale, which waved its fluke from a distance. I would certainly think about booking again.
