Terina expertly guided us through the hidden gems of Deep Ellum. We immersed ourselves in the culture, art, and delicious food in a single tour. For anyone looking for a food tour, we highly recommend booking with Terina—it exceeded our expectations.
Kyle was an excellent guide who shared fascinating insights about the history of Deep Ellum while introducing us to some delicious food. I particularly enjoyed the Tacos Al Pastor, but everything was fantastic! Thank you, Kyle.
Kye was an outstanding guide, and the food was fantastic.
This was an amazing experience. Kyle was approachable and knowledgeable, providing valuable insights that enriched our understanding of the key locations visited. The murals he discussed were captivating and steeped in history. I would rate this a perfect 10/10.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Kyle was warm and engaging, sharing plenty of insightful details about the food stops and the local art and history of Deep Ellum. The food at each stop was delicious, particularly the brisket and taco. The group was enjoyable, and Kyle allowed us ample time to savor the food and chat. Our servings arrived promptly, and skipping the line at a BBQ spot was a nice perk. I would gladly return to all the locations we visited. At the end of the tour, Kyle recommended additional places to explore in the area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly suggest this Secret Food Tour if you’re in Dallas.
Kyle provided a wealth of information while being quite entertaining. The food selections were all delightful. Having lived in Dallas for nearly 25 years and frequented Deep Ellum, I was still surprised to discover its history and some intriguing spots, like Blue Alley, that I had never encountered before.
The tour and food were fantastic. Our guide, Stephen, enhanced the experience with his extensive knowledge of Dallas and the Deep Ellum neighborhood. I highly recommend this tour and appreciate Stephen for being such an enjoyable and informative host.
Morgan is an excellent tour guide who shared valuable insights on food, art, and history throughout the experience. The tour offers a nice combination of eating and walking, allowing us to digest properly. I highly recommend it.
Kyle was an incredible tour guide. We had a fantastic time and he was very well-informed about both the neighborhood and the food.
There were some positives during my experience in this unique section of Dallas. The one slice of BBQ beef was dry yet well-seasoned, while the taco stood out as the highlight. The dessert was decent, though not remarkable. Our guide, Stephen, was kind and responsive, but felt more like a food runner than a knowledgeable tour leader. However, there were drawbacks. At one stop, we received a small piece of beef jerky from a vintage market, and at another, we shared a half-cup of chili and a 1 oz. bag of Fritos among four people. Our guide occasionally provided historical context, but only if you were walking beside him. He stopped once for us to listen about the murals in an alley but didn't seem to know much beyond the artwork of Stevie Ray Vaughan. The food images featured on this site, showcasing a BBQ sandwich and a fried fish platter, are misleading.
