The visit to the JFK memorial was truly impactful, and exploring Dallas brought a sense of nostalgic fun. The driver/guide was extremely knowledgeable, making for a very enjoyable few hours.
Orlando demonstrated extensive knowledge about Dallas, the show, and the city. He provided numerous entertaining facts about Dallas and other soap operas from the 80s and 90s. The tour of South Fork was truly iconic.
The journey to Southfork was decent for Dallas enthusiasts, and our driver provided some basic city insights. However, the trip ended up being shorter than promised, and the city tour felt virtually absent; I had hoped for more.
I participated in the Southfork/Dallas highlights tour on November 19, led by Dan, who was outstanding. At every stop, he exited the van to take our photos and personally handled ticketing at Southfork, navigating through the confusing construction. His dedication was remarkable. During the Dallas portion, he inquired about our hotel accommodations and even drove us by them to share their histories, highlighting my hotel's intriguing haunted past. Dan truly went above and beyond to enhance our experience. I also joined the JFK tour with him, where he again took photos for us and provided detailed explanations, making it an incredible experience. We visited all key spots, including the Oswald Rooming House, JD Tippit shooting site, Oswald's Apartment, Dealey Plaza, and the 6th-floor museum.
We had an excellent day, thanks to our guide William, who shared engaging insights about Dallas's history and the JFK assassination before taking us to Southfork.
Dan was an outstanding tour guide with extensive knowledge about the JFK segment of the experience. His enthusiasm for the history of Southfork and Dallas is infectious, and he makes sure you have fantastic photo opportunities. Highly recommended!
