We had an excellent time with River Ventures on the Manatee Viewing and Sightseeing Boat tour. Our guide Crystal and Captain Michael were fantastic. We spotted numerous manatees, dolphins, alligators, and a stunning variety of birds, with the nesting Ospreys being especially striking. Captain Michael was great with the curious kids on board, making it a perfect family outing. The boat was comfortable, and the weather was beautiful. We strongly endorse this experience and look forward to swimming with the manatees next year.
Piper and Brian provided an incredibly informative and helpful experience. Piper’s enthusiasm shone through as our guide, and she even took the time to teach me how to set up and use my new GoPro camera.
I don’t typically write reviews, but this trip and the crew truly impressed us. If you prefer to observe manatees rather than swim with them, plus enjoy a variety of wildlife during a leisurely boat ride, this is ideal. We had numerous close encounters with manatees, and we also spotted an osprey nest with two chicks, a dolphin that swam along with us while feeding, and more. The crew was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, waterways, islands, and the local history, including details about the hotel where Elvis stayed during a film shoot. I also appreciate Vicky for calling us and reserving a parking space, ensuring we didn't miss the tour.
I had an excellent time with Steven and Garrett. I strongly suggest that you don't miss out on this experience.
An incredible experience, easily a perfect 10/10. Gary and JJ were fantastic guides who made the journey enjoyable and straightforward. I would repeat this daily if I could.
Garrett was an outstanding guide! We encountered numerous manatees, turtles, alligators, birds, and even dolphins. His knowledge was remarkable, and we will definitely return for more.
Captain Garrett proved to be an outstanding guide, spotting numerous animals from a distance and possessing extensive knowledge about the lake and the town. I gained a lot of insight, and I believe we encountered around 10 manatees. This experience was fantastic and truly the highlight of my Florida trip.
We had a fantastic family experience. Our captain was well-informed about the region and took us to all the right spots. The guide was patient and very helpful, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable outing for everyone aged 13 to 71.
I had a wonderful experience with Lacy, Michael, Crystal, and Gary. They were incredibly friendly and did an excellent job guiding our group to see the manatees in the water.
Lacey, Crystal, Mike, and Gary were all incredibly kind, funny, and very helpful. If it were possible, I would rate this experience more than 5 stars.
