Reviews
Our private island hopping tour through Coron was fantastic, allowing us to explore stunning lagoons and beaches. The speedboat made it easy to access various locations and tailor our itinerary. We visited popular sites like the lake, lagoons, and Smith Beach. I highly recommend this company, as they provide various other water activities as well.
The staff provided exceptional service and deserve five stars for their efforts. Our tour guide was incredibly patient, capturing countless photos on my GoPro while being an excellent photographer himself. The islands were stunning and made us feel quite exclusive as we were on the only private boat. The lunch was excellent and made us feel pampered. However, the trip was marred by inaccurate information regarding payments and timings. We opted for a 10 AM departure, expecting to enjoy 9 full hours, but were informed the night before that pickup was at 10 instead. The head guy stated that our time would start when we boarded, which ended up being close to 11. Everything was great until we learned the boat needed to return by 5 PM for an unexplained reason. We paid nearly $800 in total (around $380 each) plus additional charges for clear kayaks and entrance fees. Ultimately, we only had 6 hours with 6 stops, feeling rushed with just 30-45 minutes at each location. The owner offered no apology and suggested we should have booked an earlier trip. It raises the question of why a 10 AM option exists if the boat has to return early. I feel compelled to report this company; being shorted by 30 minutes is one thing, but 3 hours is simply unacceptable, especially given the total cost.
We arranged our tour through our hotel and were impressed by their service. The air-conditioned minivan arrived promptly, taking just 10 minutes to reach the pier. They assisted us in renting fins, shoes, and a useful waterproof phone case. We didn’t have to wait long as we departed within 5 minutes of our arrival. Our stops included Barracuda Lake, Twin Lagoon, Skeleton Wreck, Coral Reef, the beach, Kayangan Lake, and Pukaway Cave. Captain Eric had us follow a different route from the other groups that day, which meant we encountered far fewer guests; only two others were at Kayangan Lake with us. The three-member team spoke English well, were very courteous, and had an impressive talent for free diving, which truly enhanced our experience. I strongly recommend a private speedboat tour for families — we set our own pace and tailored the day to our preferences, moving quicker than the other tours.
The crew was fantastic, and the boat was impressive, making for an unforgettable adventure. However, I was surprised by the requirement to pay entrance fees upfront, and it felt odd to be charged "per person" for some locations that didn’t seem to require a fee. It would be wise to check which sites actually enforce these fees ahead of time. Despite this, the experience was still enjoyable, and it's important to bring enough Filipino Pesos for tips and any purchases like beer and snacks during the trip. We brought a small cooler for drinks, which worked well. Our guide ensured everyone’s safety and shared valuable information about the various sites. The boat was unique compared to others, adding to the fun. Overall, it's a great tour, though I wish the entrance fees were included in the package, and it's worth comparing prices with other options.
The entire tour was fantastic. We appreciated the beautiful views and the delicious lunch provided. The crew was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We are grateful for such a wonderful experience.
